The Biomedical Engineering program seeks to recruit, retain, and graduate more women and students of color through the implementation of programs designed to assist in the achievement of academic, career, and personal goals. We are also committed to enhancing the total College experience for all students by promoting cross-cultural communication and cooperation. We have numerous opportunities that allow students, faculty, and other community members to get involved.
We encourage our students and faculty to actively participate in:
- Forum to Enhance Minorities in Engineering (FAME)
- Resources to Insure Successful Engineers (RISE)
- Women in Engineering (WIE)
- NSF ADVANCE
- GEM (on Mats page)
